5 Ways Notion Helps Me Stay Productive:
I started using Notion 2 years ago. It was a small community. The discovery of the product itself was revolutionary. I have returned to Notion every day from that day onwards.
I started using Notion for my work projects. I have tons of archived projects now, but I really love using it for personal work too. The most amazing part of Notion is its adaptability to your individual taste. It can be as simple as you want it to be or as complex as you can. Build systems that run workflows, projects, collaboration, dependencies etc.
Some of my most favorite use cases are:
My idea packs
I can create an idea pack of any topics I'm passionate about, and I update them every time inspiration strikes.
Reading Tracker: Library
I use the custom built library database to keep track of what books I've already read and what books I want to read next. When I'm done with a book, I get a status update on the "Done" page. Its great to add my thoughts on a book just as I finish it.
Quotes Library
I have created a quotes library to help me stay motivated. Often, these quotes help me to find the time to get into reading.
Bills & Receipts
I have a database to track my monthly bills & receipts. There's also a column to track my late bills. The mini tracker helps me keep my finances in check.
Personal Journal
Journaling helps me to feel connected to all of my life events. There's an entry for all of my wins & losses. It helps me vent when I am feeling frustrated with something.
Life Wiki
There are often peices of information that one uses again & again. Resume, work profiles, portforlios, my blog, etc. Notion allows me to store all of these things and use them whenever I need them and where I need them, whether it is on my desktop, or mobile.
I've noticed a dramatic increase in my productivity while using Notion.
